Julia Dujmovits and Anke Woehrer have something is common besides their love for snowboarding and the participation in the Olympic Games, PyeonChang 2018 being the latest for both. They both adore their Siberian Huskies. Julia's story with her beloved Kira is quite different from Anke's meeting with Jaws, but the love is unequivocally the same in each case!
HUSKY KIRA'S FIRST DAY WITH THE FAMILY
Kira is a 10-year-old Siberian Husky who came into Julia’s life after the death of the previous family dog, Ringo, the German Sheppard. “The Princess” was probably a bit upset for not having been received with a red-carpet ceremony, so she made sure that next time she will be treated properly. Here is the full story of Kira’s first day with the family.
HUSKY KIRA'S BIG PERSONALITY
Julia Dujmovits grew up having lots of animals around and especially dogs. Her childhood companion Ringo, a female German Sheppard was replaced after she died with the lovely Kira, the Siberian Husky Julia refers to as the “family princess”. Kira does not like competition, so the family was not able to keep other animals around once they got her, but Kira’s big personality is enough to fill that void.
She may be a spoiled princess, however Kira is lots of fun as well. Here is one of the funniest moments Julia recalls about Kira!
WHAT JULIA MISSES THE MOST ABOUT KIRA WHEN SHE'S AWAY
Apart from being a beautiful and spoiled princess, Kira is also very loving and up for almost anything. Now that she is an “old lady”, Kira is not that that active anymore, but she will never back out of accompanying Julia on her training or walks around the woods when they get together.
SIBERIAN HUSKY KIRA'S LOVE AND SUPPORT
Julia Dujmovits’s career faced quite a few medical setbacks, so the recovery time was always at home, with the family and Kira. Having her around meant a lot for Julia and even if on a regular basis they do not live together, Julia misses having a pet around. So, every chance they get to spend time together, is a precious time for both.
